In the Village & Bay
Start close to home
Pissouri Beach
A Blue Flag beach of golden sand and multicoloured pebbles in a sheltered bay, with clear water, watersports and beach bars along the shore. It has held the Blue Flag award repeatedly for its water quality and facilities.
Cape Aspro & the White Cliffs
Sheer white cliffs rising around 250 metres above the sea just east of the bay, best appreciated from the coastal footpath (see Nature Trails) or from a boat looking back at the coastline.
Pissouri Village Square & Amphitheatre
The traditional heart of the village, overlooked by the Church of Apostolos Andreas. It hosts live music, dancing and festivals through the year, including the September feast of Agios Andreas.
The Old Carob Warehouses
Pissouri Bay began as a small medieval port exporting carob. The stone warehouses that once stored the harvest still stand along the shore, now converted into restaurants and houses.

Pissouri’s location between Limassol and Paphos puts several major Cyprus attractions within easy reach.
Ancient Kourion
A major Greco-Roman archaeological site a short drive east, with a cliff-top amphitheatre still used for performances, Roman mosaics, and sweeping coastal views.
Petra tou Romiou (Aphrodite’s Rock)
The legendary birthplace of Aphrodite in Greek mythology, a dramatic sea stack and pebble beach a short drive west along the coast towards Paphos.
Anogyra & Local Wineries
A neighbouring hill village known for carob syrup and traditional bread ovens, close to wineries such as Zambartas and Nelion producing wines from the surrounding vineyards.
Fasouri Watermania
Cyprus’s largest water park, near Kourion, a popular family day out within easy reach of Pissouri.
Taste of the Village
Local Produce
Pissourkotiko Halloumi
A traditional halloumi made from 100% goat’s milk, a local speciality still produced around the village.
Sultanina Grapes
Small, sweet, seedless green grapes grown in the valley below the village, one of the area’s signature crops.
