Pissouri\u2019s community maintains a network of waymarked, colour-coded footpaths through the vineyards and hillsides around the village, plus the well-known coastal trail out to Cape Aspro.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Signature Walk<\/p>\n\n\n

The best-known walk in the area follows the coastline east from Pissouri Bay to the foot of the Cape Aspro cliffs and back \u2014 roughly 8 km round trip, taking 3 to 4 hours. The path starts near the Columbia Beach Resort and stays a few metres back from the cliff edge for most of its length, though the first stretch has a short, narrower section to take care on.<\/p>\n

The reward is a close-up view of the white cliffs rising some 250 metres above the sea, with the deep blue of the Mediterranean spread out below. The route is fully exposed with no shade, so it is best walked in the cooler months, early morning, or late afternoon, with plenty of water and sturdy footwear.<\/p>\n

• Wear proper walking shoes; some sections are uneven or narrow

Alongside the coastal trail, Pissouri maintains a network of eight further hiking and biking routes through the surrounding countryside, each marked by colour.<\/p>\n\n\n
